Ved Vidyalay & Annakshetra by Shridham Math, Ayodhya
Background: In the year 1980 the land of Shridhammath was purchased by
Shri Jairamdasji Maharaj .The Math was build by the help and
contribution of the devotees in Ayodhya. The idols of Shriram,
Sita and Laxman are the main deities in the temple. Shrimaharajji
dedicated all the property of the temple to the dirties and
preferred to work as Sarvaharakar, that is the caretaker
according to the religious tradition of Ayodhya Sarvarahkar is
works only as the head and the caretaker and he does not have
the power to sell the property , that comes under the temple . He
has the authority to appoint new Sarvarahkar when the time
comes. Shri Jairamdasji Swamiji considered Swamiji
Raghavacharyaji as the suitable person to bear the responsibility
of Sarvarahkar and appointed him to that position in the year
1999.
Purpose: The main purpose of the Shridhammath is the service and
worship of the Shrimurties. Along with it, the food centre /
Annakshetra of the temple arranges Satvik food for the devotees,
who visit Ayodhya .It also gives lodging facility to them. In the
year 2003 cow shelter /Goshala -Shri Nandani Goshala -started
auto work with the purpose to save cows. In 2011 Shri Ramanuj
Vedvidyalaya came into existence with Sanskrit and Vedic
educational purpose. Both these projects work under
Shridhammath.
Future Plans: Shridhammath is situated near to Shriramjanmbhumi and
Shrihanumanghadhi. Ayodhya is turning into a new centre of
Hindu faith .It is expected that a larger number of devotees will
visit Ayodhya in near future. The future plan is to make
arrangement of food for 100-150 devotees. Presently the food
expenditure is Rs. 50000/ monthly.
Shrinandani Goshala has 32 cows, which will increase to 50.
Yearly expenditure on a single cow is Rs. 21000/.
Shri Ramanuj Vedvidhyalaya has 17 students. Monthly
expenditure on a student is Rs. 2500/ as all the facilities are free
to the students.

donation amount is exempted from income tax (CIT
